Work place issue-Very nervous and confused,need help please?
We have a position open at my work place and this suites my brothers profile who is accused of a feloney crime in past.I referred him to my boss to the position since he is looking for jobs very desperately.Now my question is when they find out that he has a feloney case during the background check what's going to happen to my reputation at work.I have a good reputation at my work place and also my boss likes me a lot.I am very nervous now,should I just go to him and lie to him that my brother got a job already and don't need this job anymore or just wait and see what's gonna happen.They are going to call my brother very soon for an interview.
And I am not in a position to loose my job or reputation at any cost.What should I do now.Please help.
